FALL TRAVEL BALL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW LONG WILL THE SEASON RUN?

Fall 2022 season will start at the beginning of tryouts (mid to late august), and end the week prior to Thanksgiving.

HOW OFTEN WILL THEY PRACTICE?

Practices are typically 2-4 times a week in the evenings at Powermill Training Academy. Some teams will have weekend practices and will try and fit outdoor practices into their weekly schedule as well. This is all subject to change, parents and players will have a definitive schedule upon the first team meeting with your coach.

HOW MANY TOURNAMENTS WILL THEY PLAY?

Each team for fall will participate in 2-4 tournaments. Parents and players will know their tournament schedule upon the first meeting after teams are made.

WHAT AGES DO TRAVEL BALL?

We have teams for ages 13u and above. Dependent upon the season will determine if we have older teams such as 17u & 18u. Please contact "info.warbaseball@gmail.com" for more information.

HOW CAN I REGISTER MY PLAYER?

You may register by going to our "tryouts" page and following the link to complete all necessary information. If you prefer you may call or email "info@thepowermill.com" and please include answers to all of the following questions in the email.

1. Player full name

2. Player DOB

3. Player graduation year

4. Two primary positions played by player

5. Parent name, email, and phone number

6. Player shirt , pant, and hat size (S/M or (M/L)

7. Two preferred jersey numbers.

Depending on the date you registered please bring the appropriate amount of money in the form of cash, check, or venmo either prior to tryouts, or no later then the day of tryouts.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?

SPECIFIC COSTS OF FALL TRAVEL BALL ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE UNTIL ALL TEAMS ARE MADE. You may email "info@thepowermill.com" Parents will know the exact costs of everything and packages offered at the first team meeting. Players ARE REQUIRED to obtain a $49.99/month, yearly membership from Powermill Training Academy in order to practice with your team, this membership can be used anytime with or without your team. Players coming from out of Tallahassee may speak with their coach on an individual basis about memberships. If this membership is cancelled early players are subject to an early termination fee.

Spring season will start at the beginning of tryouts, and end around June-July depending on the scheduled date of their last tournament. At the first team meeting players and parents will know their end date as it will be different per each team.

HOW OFTEN WILL THEY PRACTICE?

Each team for spring will participate in anywhere from 4-8 tournaments. Parents and players will know their tournament schedule upon the first meeting after teams are made. Your costs will reflect how many games your player is in, not everyone will be required to pay the same amounts depending on the teams.
